Healthy Bodies, Growing Minds: School Meals & Nutrition

School Dinners at St. Oswald’s CE Primary School – We are proud to have our very own in-house catering team, led by Mrs Hanna, who carefully designs our menus with health, nutrition, and the children’s favourites in mind. Every day, there are plenty of tasty options to choose from – all served with a smile. Our catering team are always on hand to support the children, whether that’s helping with cutlery, encouraging good table manners, or offering a friendly word of encouragement. Mrs Hanna genuinely cares about what the children eat and how it fuels their bodies and minds – and her food is as delicious as it is nutritious!

School dinners are available at £2.60 per meal, payable online through Parent Mail. Please note that this does not affect universal school meals for children in Reception, Years 1 and 2.

Autumn Term Menu

We love keeping our pupils fuelled and ready to learn! Every morning, our KS1 children enjoy a free piece of fruit through the National School Fruit Scheme, while our Reception children also receive milk to keep them energised.

KS2 pupils can bring their own healthy snack for morning break – fruit is always a great choice (no sweets please).

For a tasty treat, our school kitchen serves toast, crumpets, or bagels on different days, freshly prepared and served warm. These are just 30p each or £1.50 per week, and can be ordered and paid for in advance via Parent Mail.
