How do we define our Christian Distinctiveness?
At St. Oswald’s CE Primary School, our Christian distinctiveness is the cornerstone of our identity, shaping every facet of school life. Guided by the Church of England’s vision for education—“Deeply Christian, Serving the Common Good”—we are committed to nurturing an environment where faith, hope, and love flourish. Our ethos, inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan, encourages us to “Love Your Neighbour as Yourself,” fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and inclusivity. As a proud member of the Chester Diocesan Academies Trust, we strive to provide an education that enables all pupils to experience ‘life in all its fullness’ (John 10:10), promoting spiritual growth alongside academic excellence. Through collective worship, a values-rich curriculum, and strong community partnerships, we aim to develop well-rounded individuals who embody Christian distinctiveness and principles in their daily lives.
