Leading with Faith: A Welcome from Mrs Beesley
Thank you for considering St. Oswald’s CE Primary School for your child’s education—we’re delighted to welcome you as you explore the next step in your child’s learning journey. I’m Mrs Beesley, the Head Teacher, and I am proud to lead our wonderful school alongside our Deputy Head Teacher, Mrs Craven.
St. Oswald’s is a small, friendly, and nurturing school set in the heart of the beautiful Cheshire countryside. Our unique rural setting offers children space to thrive—both inside the classroom and beyond it. With small class sizes, we are able to provide truly personalised learning, ensuring every child is known, valued, and supported to achieve their full potential.
One of the many things that makes St. Oswald’s special is our strong sense of community. We are a close-knit, welcoming school family where everyone looks out for one another. Our pupils benefit from regular Forest School sessions, where they can explore nature, build confidence, and develop teamwork and resilience in a safe and inspiring outdoor environment.
As a Church of England school, our Christian values underpin everything we do. We are passionate about offering a well-rounded education—one that promotes kindness, curiosity, creativity, and care for others. And we believe in working closely with parents and carers as true partners in your child’s development.
We would love to show you what makes St. Oswald’s so special. Get in touch, come and visit us, or take a look at what we’re up to on our social media.
We can’t wait to welcome you and your child into our school community.

Warm regards,
Mrs Beesley
Headteacher
